Staying Power – The lipstick stays nicely and intact for 5 plus hrs on my lips and leave behind a beautiful pink berry stain on my lips. The lipstick doesn’t leave my lips dry once it wears off and that is the best part about wearing a matte formula from MAC, they look drying but if my lips are in good condition there is nothing to worry about. Pigmentation – MAC D for Danger Matte Lipstick is super saturated and gives opaque coverage in one single layer, it does feel a little heavy if you layer it back and forth but that is not required as one layer is good enough.
I adore this finish a lot and would go on and on and on to praise the finish. Texture – As you know it is from MATTE finish, which is creamy, glides easily unlike RETRO MATTE, sits pretty and doesn’t bleed or settle in fine lines easily. A shade like this is not unique and you can find them in many brands but I really liked this one a lot and highly recommend you to try in store. Shade – D for Danger is described as brick red, now to me this is nowhere near to BRICK RED I wear, for me / on me it is cool toned pink based berry red shade and very flattering without any efforts and will flatter all easily, in my opinion. Anyhow, here is one beautiful but not so unique shade from the same collection – MAC D for Danger Matte Lipstick.
I want 2 more shades which are haunting me from the past few days – Whirl and Studded Kiss. MAC MATTE Lipstick collection have some of the most amazing shades and am glad they will be included in permanent line, so no hurries for us. MAC D for Danger Matte Lipstick (3 gm, Price – 1450 /- INR)
